Our Story

Family experience brought to Wilmington

Built on More Than 40 Years of Family Lawn Care Experience Cool Out Lawn Care carries forward a family tradition in lawn care that began more than 40 years ago with my Uncle James in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Uncle James built his lawn-care business from the ground up through years of hard work, consistency, and taking care of his customers. It wasn’t something that appeared overnight. He developed the business one property and one customer at a time, building relationships and earning repeat business through dependable service. As the business grew, lawn care became a true family operation. His two sons — my cousins — became involved in the work, learning the business firsthand and helping with the day-to-day responsibility of maintaining customers’ properties. His daughter also helped the family business over the years. Together, they contributed to a lawn-care operation that has lasted for more than four decades. That family lawn-care tradition is still going in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area today. Growing up around that example showed me that lawn care is about more than simply cutting grass. A successful service business depends on showing up, communicating with customers, taking pride in the property, using the right equipment, and building relationships that can last for years. Today, I’m carrying those lessons forward with Cool Out Lawn Care in Wilmington, North Carolina. My goal is to combine that old-school commitment to dependable service with a modern approach to communication, scheduling, estimates, and customer service. Whether a customer needs regular mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, cleanup, or help getting an overgrown property back under control, the goal is simple: communicate clearly, show up ready to work, and leave the property looking better than we found it. More than 40 years of family lawn-care experience helped shape the way I approach this business — and Cool Out Lawn Care is the next chapter of that family tradition.

Cool Out Lawn Care focuses on the basics homeowners need most: mowing, edging, weed trimming and cleaning clippings from hard surfaces. We offer weekly, biweekly and one-time options based on availability.
